Escape the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City and spend a day exploring the authentic Mekong Delta by bicycle, boat, and kayak. Ride through peaceful countryside paths, discover local markets and villages, meet local people, taste seasonal tropical fruits, and paddle through quiet waterways surrounded by everyday Mekong life.
Morning Adventure
07:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in central District 1 or meet at our meeting point at the City Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, we transfer to the peaceful Mekong countryside.
Upon arrival at our local bike store, take a moment to enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese coffee before starting your adventure.
Then hop on your bike and follow quiet countryside roads along the riverbank. Our ride takes you through local villages and toward a traditional wet market, where you can cycle through the market, see the locals going about their daily routines, and sample some delicious seasonal tropical fruits.
Continue cycling through small villages and peaceful rural landscapes before stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. This is a genuine local experience away from the typical tourist routes.
After lunch, continue your journey to the boat station and board a local boat to explore the waterways of the Mekong Delta.
Cruise through the river and around the islands, discovering the fascinating floating communities and riverside villages. Then it’s time to get closer to the water by kayak.
Paddle through quiet canals and narrow waterways, surrounded by lush vegetation and local homes, while experiencing the peaceful rhythm of everyday Mekong life from the water.
After kayaking, return to the pier and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.

We offer New Ford Transis which is comfortable for transportation and always available at your side in case you need to take a break during a ride.
Local leaders at Countryside Adventures who all have strong passion in outdoor activities. Deep knowledge about History, culture and local cuisine. They know well and love their country are the most important to connect and happy to share with you all about whatever topics you may want to know.
We use Giant & Trek mountain bikes all size available at our bike store. Kids bikes are also provided. Please let us know your height on the time of tour booking and we will arrange proper bikes for you.
We do have both single and double solid kayaks available at our kayak store which are suitable for river exploring.
Please let us know which type of kayak you would refer upon on your booking,then we will arrange a required one for you.
Our Local boat will fully support during kayaking activities. You can find life vest available on boat. You can relax by getting back to the boat if you feel tired.
We do provide light breakfast & Lunch for most of our day trip. As we want you to experience local food, therefore, most of our meal break is at super local restaurant with healthy and special local food of the area.
We do provide healthy local snacks and drinks during our outdoor activities. We buy all snacks & drinks along the way to support local community.

Cycling Distance
Enjoy approximately 20–30 km (12–19 miles) of cycling through the peaceful Mekong countryside. The route can be adjusted depending on your fitness level and local conditions.
Road Conditions
We ride mainly on quiet countryside lanes, village roads, small paths and riverside routes, away from busy traffic. This is a great way to discover the authentic daily life of Mekong communities.
Who Can Join?
This adventure is suitable for anyone who enjoys cycling, kayaking and exploring the outdoors. Our experienced guides can adjust the pace and route to suit different cycling abilities.
Bikes & Family Equipment
We use quality Trek and Giant mountain bikes (MTB) for our cycling activities. Please provide your height when booking so we can arrange the most suitable bike for you.
For families travelling with young children, we can also arrange front or rear child seats and bike trailers. Please let us know your requirements in advance.
Meals & Dietary Requirements
We can arrange vegetarian meals and accommodate other dietary requirements whenever possible. Please inform us of your requirements at the time of booking.
