The Mekong Delta is an extremely important area in Southern Vietnam. It serves as the rice bowl and fruit basket for the country’s important agricultural industry.
It also boasts some of the friendliest locals and truly unique experiences.
Cycling distance will be flexible starting from 30 to 50KM per day. Mekong Delta is as flat as a pancake, therefore, it is quite easy for everyone who loves riding a bike.
Kayaking through canals/island would give you a great local river life.
During our two days biking and kayaking trip we will immerse you in this amazing local culture.
Stay overnight at the local homestay.
Cooking some special Mekong foods.
Enjoy sunrise by the Mekong River.
Morning, Pick up at your hotel
and transfer to Mekong Delta approximately 1, 5 hours.
We start our cycling adventure into the heart of the rural Mekong countryside.
While pedaling along the narrow lanes, passing through a banana plantation, fruit gardens, and coconut palms we will pass through the lush green landscape of the delta providing you with the real experience of the countryside.
We take some local ferries crossing several canals and rivers for an amazing cycling day meeting with locals.
After we’ve thoroughly burned through some calories we will stop and have lunch at a local restaurant with some special Mekong food.
In the late afternoon, we will take an hour of kayaking along the river to experience local river life and then enjoy Sunset on the Mighty Mekong River.
That night we will learn about Vietnamese cooking with the host to prepare some dishes for our dinner. Overnight at a local guesthouse.

Roads condition for cycling: countryside roads, tarmac, very flat, quiet.
Cycling distance: 30 -40 KM( It’ll depend on rider’s ability)
Kayaking: From one hour.
Morning, we wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise by KAYAK(highlight of the day).
Breakfast at a local homestay, then we do check out and boat transfer to the canal where we will kayak to the Floating market to experience the river life.
You can see up-close the real activities of the locals living on the river for hundreds of years.
It’s also a chance to taste some seasonal fruits or simply enjoy a cup of coffee by the floating market.
After finishing the boat trip, then we will cruise deeper into the Mekong countryside to see the daily activities of the locals in the morning.
Walking around one of a village to visit some local industries of the area where you can see the locals making goods from the simple method.
Finish the boat trip at noon, then we stop at locals’ restaurant for lunch before transfer back to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon ending our Mekong countryside trip.

Most of our accommodation are chosen as local places and home stay to make sure our guests will stay closely with the locals,thus will provide an inside of local life style and their cultures.
We offer New Ford Transis which is comfortable for transportation and always available at your side in case you need to take a break during a ride.
Local leaders at Countryside Adventures who all have strong passion in outdoor activities. Deep knowledge about History, culture and local cuisine. They know well and love their country are the most important to connect and happy to share with you all about whatever topics you may want to know.
We use Giant & Trek mountain bikes all size available at our bike store. Kids bikes are also provided. Please let us know your height on the time of tour booking and we will arrange proper bikes for you.
Our Local boat will fully support during kayaking activities. You can find life vest available on boat. You can relax by getting back to the boat if you feel tired.
We do have both single and double solid kayaks available at our kayak store which are suitable for river exploring.
Please let us know which type of kayak you would refer upon on your booking,then we will arrange a required one for you.
We do provide light breakfast & Lunch for most of our day trip. As we want you to experience local food, therefore, most of our meal break is at super local restaurant with healthy and special local food of the area.
We do provide healthy local snacks and drinks during our outdoor activities. We buy all snacks & drinks along the way to support local community.

From 05 -10 persons: US$ 240 per person.
Child from 06 years old to under 10 years old: 75% of prices from the adult.

Cycling distance: Starting from 30KM to 50KM ( 18miles to 30 miles)
Road conditions: Countryside roads, quiet villages roads.
Suitable ages: Anyone who loves cycling and kayaking.
Bikes: We use MTB Trek/Giant for riding. Please provide us your heights for proper bike arrangement. We also provide baby front/back child seats and Trailer, please inquire us upon of your booking.
Meals: We can arrange vegetarian food, please let us know in advance.
What to wear & bring: Please wear comfortable clothing for outdoor activities( Short, T-shirt, sports shoes or pair of sandals are recommended)
What Local homestay offer: Local homestay offer a private air-conditioned room from single to family room. A mosquito net is provided.
