The Floating Market was once a center for local trade and authentic Vietnamese culture. However, the urbanization and flood of tourists greatly impacted this once quaint rural area. Now the market has only a few local merchants trading coconuts and bananas.
In 2015 a team of dedicated outdoor adventure guides decided the standard floating market experience needed to be updated to reflect the new Vietnam and the wonderful new experiences available in this beautiful area.
We’re proud to be the first company to provide a new way to experience the Mekong Delta and engage with the wonderful local residents from the vantage point of Kayaks. Our trip begins at the old “floating market” where you will experience first-hand the impact of tourism and industrialization.
Mekong kayaking and Boating: 02 days trip are a great time for those who want to experience Mekong river life.
You will have a chance to discover most parts of the Mekong river in Vietnam.
Meeting and chatting with the locals living along the river bank.
Staying overnight at a local place.
Learning cooking with the locals also a great experience.

Morning, Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
Transfer to Mekong Countryside.
Take a private boat trip with Kayak to a quiet canal where we start kayaking. ( 02 hours)
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, Paddling another 02 hours to enjoy Sunset and nightlife along the bank of Mekong River.
Learning cooking class at local eco – guest house.
Stay overnight at a local place.

Most of our accommodation are chosen as local places and home stay to make sure our guests will stay closely with the locals,thus will provide an inside of local life style and their cultures.
We offer New Ford Transis which is comfortable for transportation and always available at your side in case you need to take a break during a ride.
Local leaders at Countryside Adventures who all have strong passion in outdoor activities. Deep knowledge about History, culture and local cuisine. They know well and love their country are the most important to connect and happy to share with you all about whatever topics you may want to know.
Our Local boat will fully support during kayaking activities. You can find life vest available on boat. You can relax by getting back to the boat if you feel tired.
We do have both single and double solid kayaks available at our kayak store which are suitable for river exploring.
Please let us know which type of kayak you would refer upon on your booking,then we will arrange a required one for you.
We do provide light breakfast & Lunch for most of our day trip. As we want you to experience local food, therefore, most of our meal break is at super local restaurant with healthy and special local food of the area.
We do provide healthy local snacks and drinks during our outdoor activities. We buy all snacks & drinks along the way to support local community.

Kayaking distance per day: Starting from 04KM to 06KM ( 01 hours to 03 hours)
Water conditions: Calm and quiet canals/rivers
